This Minivan Comes Fully Loaded...With $500K Of Cocaine!

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS) — A car repair led to a $500k-discovery for a man in the Bay Area.

Charles Preston brought his van to a mechanic because he was having trouble with the window.

When the mechanic took off the door panel they found 16 kilos of cocaine inside.

Preston bought the van from Thrifty Car Rentals last year.

Police said the vehicle had obviously been used by drug smugglers and they said it was a good thing Preston found the cocaine before the smugglers found him.
