Tanya Memme Shares Inexpensive Ways To Create Your Own Thanksgiving Day Decor

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Are you cutting back on your decorating budget this holiday season, but still want to throw a fabulous party?

Tanya Memme, host of "Sell This House Extreme" visited the KCAL9 studio and brought along some tips for inexpensive but creative Thanksgiving decorations.

Tanya suggests making a beautiful and edible centerpiece for your table. Start by carving out a pumpkin, then fill the top with flowers, and garnish with beautiful cheese, olives, and grapes.

A centerpiece like this will cost $20 to make, whereas a similar decoration might sell for around $150 in stores.

You can also decorate mismatched wine glasses to quickly compliment each other, and create candle sticks out of apples. The cost for supplies is $2 per glass or candle stick.
