Occupy Van Nuys Event Fizzles With Less Than 30 Showing Up

VAN NUYS (CBS) — Police were bracing for more than 500 protesters but an Occupy Van Nuys event attracted about 30 people.

At one point, police outnumbered demonstrators.

Occupy events have sprung up all over the country with thousands taking to the streets to protest corporate greed and Wall Street excess.

Occupy Van Nuys was scheduled to begin around 10 a.m.
