Doctors Will Be Final Witnesses In Conrad Murray Trial

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The final witnesses testifying for Dr. Conrad Murray will be fellow doctors. Addiction and propofol experts are expected to testify Thursday.

The defense has been utilizing a string of witnesses who have testified about Murray's character.

Murray wiped tears from his eyes Wednesday as five former patients spoke of his charitable work for the poor, calling him kind and competent.

The prosecution painted Murray as a greedy, reckless doctor who abandoned Michael Jackson and allowed him to die.

Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the pop star's 2009 death.
