Moreno Valley Man, 46, Stabbed To Death Outside Apartment Complex

MORENO VALLEY (CBS) — A 46-year-old Moreno Valley man was stabbed to death early Sunday morning, according to officials.

The Sheriff's Department says the killer remains at large.

Melvin Charles Jackson was stabbed on a concrete walkway outside an apartment building on the 22500 block of Adrienne Avenue in Moreno Valley, according to Sheriff's Sgt. Brian Reno.

The stabbing occurred just before 2 a.m., said authorities.

The victim was taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at 3:51 a.m.

Detectives from the Moreno Valley Police Department and the Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit are handling the investigation.
