Lohan Turned Away From County Morgue After Arriving Late For Community Service

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Los Angeles County Coroner's office confirms that Lindsay Lohan showed up at the morgue to perform community service Thursday, but was turned away because she arrived too late.

An official told CBS2 that Lohan is welcome to return Friday, as long as she arrives on time.

KNX 1070's Vytas Safronikas reports.

"With all of the stress and pressure from yesterday and today, I've never been so happy to go to therapy!!!!" Lohan tweeted Thursday. "Also, I'm sorry for the confusion that I may of caused to those at the Coroner's office. Won't happen again, now I know where to go! Thank you for your help."

Lohan was released on $100,000 bail Wednesday after a judge determined that the 25-year-old actress violated the terms of her probation.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sauter says Lohan violated her probation when she was booted from the downtown women's shelter where she had been ordered to complete most of her community service.

She was reassigned to the county morgue.

She is due back in court Nov. 2.
