Man, 18, Robbed While Walking Near Home In Temecula

TEMECULA (CBS) — An 18-year-old Temecula man was robbed early Sunday morning while walking near his home and police were on the hunt for man responsible.

The incident took place in the 30000 block of Galatina Street about 1:15 a.m., a sheriff's sergeant said.

According to Sgt. Don Fortney, the victim told officers that a man got out of a car, pulled out a gun and demanded his valuables.

After victim handed over his property, the car pulled away, Fortney added. The vehicle was later located by California Highway Patrol officers in the Wildomar area.
