NEW YORK (AP) — Adele is again canceling concerts because of throat troubles.

Her 10-city U.S. concert run was to kick off in Atlantic City, N.J., on Friday and take her to cities including Nashville, Tenn., and Miami. But in a statement released Tuesday, those performances were canceled, blamed on a hemorrhage into her vocal chord.

The “Rolling in the Deep” singer canceled some U.S. concert dates in April because of laryngitis.

The best-selling British soul singer says she’s “truly devastated” and annoyed. She says in the statement she has no choice but to rest and recuperate properly or risk permanent damage to her voice.

She adds she’s going to start vocal rehab soon. She apologizes to her fans.

Lose some weight while she is on break. Great voice, but too thick for Americans

Who is this? She needs a better publicist, I never heard of her.

No need for a better publicist…how about less time reading and pay attention to pop culture.

WHo the hell is she anyway?

I’m seriously questioning people’s musical taste if they’ve never heard of Adele. Wow. Just….WOW.

Regarding whether people have heard of her…pull your head out of the sand. You might not be into it, but at least should have heard her name by now. She has been around for a couple of years granted with no headlining tour.

But I have heard rumors before that she is terrified of singing live, so that might be a real explanation to her cancelling shows. Is it Carly Simon that has terrible stage fright preventing her from performing live for over 20 years? Though I think she did crack that fear sometime in the 2000’s.
