Fullerton Flasher Sentenced To 18 Months In Prison

FULLERTON  (CBS) — A 22-year-old man who exposed himself to at least seven girls outside schools in Buena Park and Fullerton was sentenced Friday to 18 months in prison.

Ruben Rodriguez pleaded guilty August 23 to an attempted lewd act on a child under 14 and luring a child with the intent to commit a specified crime, both felonies.

He also admitted to two misdemeanor counts of annoying a child and indecent exposure, according to court records.

Rodriguez struck a plea deal with Deputy District Attorney Mark Birney. As part of the deal, 18 other misdemeanor counts were dropped.

According to the DA, Rodriguez's were mostly teen girls and he did not touch any of them. He did ask one of the girls to touch him, Birney said.
