LOS ANGELES (AP) — Organizers of a 3-day free medical care clinic in Los Angeles will hand out wristbands in advance to avoid a crush of needy patients being turned away during the event.

CareNow will distribute the wristbands at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on Oct. 17 for the clinic, which will be held between Oct. 20 and 23.
