Fox Sports Sues Dodgers
(CBS) -- Fox Sports has filed suit against the Los Angeles Dodgers in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Fox is alleging the team has breached its current television contract which gives Fox the exclusive negotiating rights through November, 2012.
McCourt's proposal would violate those terms, but it is viewed as the only way for the Dodgers owner to emerge from bankruptcy.
Earlier in the day Major League Baseball's Players Assn. said they plan to monitor the Dodgers' off-season spending very carefully.
