Police Shoot And Kill Murder Suspect In Reseda

(UPDATE: 10 p.m.): Police say the suspect shot and killed by police shot two people sitting in a car. No word on their condition.

TARZANA (CBS) — Los Angeles police shot and killed a man Saturday after their suspect reportedly shot two other people in Reseda.

The fatal OIS was reported just after 4:35 p.m. in the 6600 block of Etiwanda Avenue, according to LAPD Officer Cleon Joseph.

Officers responding to a shots fired call found two wounded at the scene. CBS2's Suraya Fadel reports the suspect shot the two people who were sitting in a car at the time.

Joseph said police set up a perimeter. "[They] made contact with the suspect and an officer-involved shooting occurred at that time."

The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wounded were both transported to an area hospital. They were both listed in critical condition Saturday evening.

No officers were injured in the shooting.
