Man Accused Of Murdering His Santa Clarita Neighbor After A Dispute

SANTA CLARITA (CBS) — Authorities Saturday said a man shot his neighbor to death in Canyon Country.

The shooting occurred about 3 a.m. in the 27900 block of Calypso Lane, according to authorities. The victim, identified late Saturday as 51-year-old Anthony Davis, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Davis was shot in the upper torso.

Officials say the man's neighbor, now identified as Lennie Tracey, was the shooter.

He was arrested and booked on a murder charge. According to Deputy Luis Castro of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau, Tracey is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
