Dodgers Fail To Draw 3 Million Fans For First Time Since '92

(AP) -- The announced crowd of 37,560 gave the Dodgers a season home attendance total of 2,935,139, the first time they failed to draw at least 3 million in a non-strike year since 1992.

They averaged 36,236 and had just three sellouts at the 56,000-seat stadium.

The Dodgers went 42-39 at home, their sixth straight season with a winning home record.

On his 84th birthday, Tommy Lasorda presented Dodgers jerseys to the Little League World Series champions, Ocean View from Huntington Beach.

The youngsters received a commemorative Frosted Flakes cereal box featuring the team....

Lasorda delivered the Dodgers' lineup card to the umpires, chatting with them and Giants manager Bruce Bochy at home plate.
