3 People Injured In South Los Angeles Officer-Involved Shooting

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Officials say three people have been injured in an officer-involved shooting.

Police responded to a report of gunfire at an apartment complex at 121 and Figueroa streets around 2:35 p.m. Friday.

Three people were transported to a local hospital, one in serious condition and two with minor injuries, fire officials said.

No LAPD officers were injured in the shooting.

Authorities didn't release additional details. Police are investigating what lead to the shooting.
