Blue Line Train Stalled In Downtown LA
LOS ANGELES (CBS)— A Blue Line train stalled in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday due to a problem connecting to its overhead power line, and passengers were taken off the train and transferred to buses.
The southbound train stalled near Flower Street and Venice Boulevard around 2 p.m.
Firefighters escorted passengers off the train and onto Metro buses bound for Long Beach, Jose Ubaldo of Metro said.
Metro engineers were trying to solve the problem, he said.
It was unclear how long the service might be delayed.
