Take Charge In Your Community By Joining 'Chiron Crisis Response Team'

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — David Singer, from The Chiron Crisis Response Team, stopped by KCAL9 Monday to encourage volunteers to help out in their communities.

The Chiron Crisis Response Team works with Beverly Hills and Culver City police and fire, as well as other law enforcement agencies.

They were the first psych-support people on scene at Farmer's Market in Santa Monica, and worked with Covina police after the "Bad Santa" attack.

The team is starting a new 10-week training for volunteer paraprofessionals in October.
