Los Angeles County Fair To Kick Off Saturday
POMONA (CBS) — The Los Angeles County Fair is kicking off at the Fairplex in Pomona this weekend.
In addition to rides, wine tasting classes and a shark encounter, you can feast on everything from deep-fried watermelon and Kool-Aid to maple bacon donuts. There are also several vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Grandstand concerts will include performances by The Beach Boys, One Republic, Salt-N-Peppa, Boz Scaggs, WAR and The Doobie Brothers, just to name a few.
The fair opens Saturday, Sept. 3, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 2.
Hours:
Monday - (Labor Day Weekend) 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday - (Labor Day Weekend) 10 a.m. – midnight
Wednesdays - noon - 10 p.m.
Thursdays - noon - 11 p.m., buildings close at 10 p.m.
Fridays - noon - midnight, buildings close at 11 p.m.
Saturdays - 10 a.m. - midnight , buildings close at 11 p.m.
Sundays - 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
