What is going on with all of these hit and runs? Seems like there is at least one every week. What kind of person can hit another human being with their car and not have the decency to stop? They leave a person lying in the road injured and/or dying, and all they can think of is to take off and try to save themselves. Disgusting and pathetic.

For one thing, this was an older guy, who already did good and bad troughout his life, bad things were more likely he did. The driver thought that he would have been charged to replace an old man with the price of a new one, so leaving the scene was the choice to take.
