No More Free Parking! Glendale Fixes Meter Glitch

GLENDALE (CBS) — City officials in Glendale say drivers will now have to pay for parking around the city.

Electronic meters had been shut down earlier this month due to a technical problem that had caused some drivers to be wrongly ticketed.

The city has now found a way around that glitch and will restart the meters Monday.

The exact cause of the glitch is still not known.
