3.2 Quake Strikes Long Beach Area

LONG BEACH (CBS) — A magnitude-3.2 earthquake struck Thursday in the Long Beach area, but there were no reports of any injuries or damage.

The quake struck at 2:43 p.m. and was centered two miles south-southeast of Long Beach and three miles southeast of Signal Hill, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
