LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Chinese food is rising to new levels, 24 floors above downtown Los Angeles.

Wolfgang Puck’s WP24 is Chinese cuisine with a high end twist, without the high end price high atop the new Ritz-Carlton.

When the clock strikes 5 p.m., guests can experience the “Tastes of 24”: three courses, all for under $24, including panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline.

“You can try lots of different things, you can experiment with lots of different things, or maybe try something you wouldn’t of tried,” said Sara Johannes, Chef De Cuisine at WP24.

“Tastes of 24” is served in the restaurant’s lounge and offers first and main courses in addition to a dessert. The “Tastes of 24” menu is seasonal, currently featuring Steamed Baby Bao Buns, Szechuan Chicken, “Dan Dan” Dumplings, “Hong Kong Style” Tai Red Snapper, and the signature Marjolasian dessert, just to name a few.

“The fun thing about this concept is that it is constantly evolving,” Johannes said.

“Tastes of 24” is offered Monday through Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.
