Small Brush Fire Reported In Banning
BANNING (CBS) — Fire crews were on the scene of a small brush fire in Banning that has consumed eight acres and is spreading, a county fire official said.
The blaze was reported at 3 p.m. near Sunset Avenue and Longhorn Road.
"It's burning in medium brush, with a potential for 75 acres," said county fire spokeswoman Cheri Patterson.
There were 117 firefighters supported by one helicopter and two air tankers battling the blaze, Patterson said.
