Dodgers Place Rubby De La Rosa On Disabled List

(CBS) -- Hard throwing rookie Rubby De La Rosa has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with inflammation in his right elbow.

De La Rosa threw 103 pitches in just four innings of work on Sunday in a losing effort against Arizona.

The Dodgers have recalled John Ely to take De La Rosa's spot on the active roster.
