Police Hunt For Suspect They Say Intentionally Plowed His SUV Into 2 Men

SAN BERNARDINO (CBS) — Police have located the SUV they say was used to intentionally ram into two men at a San Bernardino convenience store parking lot Thursday evening.

The driver is still at large, according to authorities.

The incident occurred at Richardson Street and Victoria Avenue.

Officials allege the driver, Juan Louis Cristerna, inappropriately touched a woman inside Todd's Market.

They say he then got into a fight with two of the woman's relatives -- believed to be a brother and a cousin -- and intentionally hit them with his Chevy Tahoe before fleeing.

Authorities say one of the men suffered serious injuries to his pelvis and had to undergo surgery.

The other victim was treated at the hospital and later released.

Police told CBS2 and KCAL9 reporter Greg Mills that tips from the public led to Cristerna being identified as the suspect. They said he lives within a mile of Todd's Market.

Authorities told Mills that they believe Cristerna is still "hiding out" in the area.
