Does Confessed Madman Anders Breivik Have A Sister In Los Angeles?

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — While the country of Norway was expressing a national day of mourning, after the spree killing and bombing Friday that left as many as 100 dead, authorities in Los Angeles were asking if the madman -- Anders Breivik -- has a sister or other relatives in Los Angeles?

In a rambling, often disturbing 1,500 page manifesto, Breivik mentions a sister he is estranged from and says she lives in Los Angeles.

CBS2's Kara Finnstrom read parts of the manifesto. Finnstrom reports that e chastises the sister for "her American lifestyle" and calls her out for "money is the driving force in her life." He also says she is more concerned with money and "not the greater good."

Jeff Nguyen reporting for KCAL9 says notes on the door to the alleged sister's house make it clear she and her neighbors are not willing, or wanting, to discuss any possible relation to the terrorist.

Neighbors told him an Elizabeth Breivik does live at the property but the woman who lives there mostly keeps to herself. Said one, "She says hi and bye."
