Bond Set At $1M For Woman Accused In Penis Attack
WESTMINSTER (CBS) — Bond was set at $1 million for the Garden Grove woman accused of severing her estranged husband's penis with a 10-inch kitchen knife appeared in court Friday.
Catherine Kieu, 48, faces charges of torture and aggravated mayhem. She allegedly drugged the victim's food to make him sleepy, cut of his penis, and placed it in the garbage disposal.

She then called 911 and told responding officers that her husband, whose name has not been released, "deserved it."
He has since been released from the hospital.
Kieu was scheduled to be arraigned Friday, but her lawyer asked for a continuance. Her arraignment was rescheduled for Sept. 23.
Kieu did not enter a plea Friday. If convicted on all counts, she could face life in prison without parole.
