Worker Crushed To Death Within Industrial Clothes Washer

BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBS) — A man was crushed to death within an industrial clothes washer while at work Wednesday.

The accident happened at a business at 629 S. Clarence Street in Boyle Heights around 12:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

State workplace officials are investigating the death. The name of the man has not been released.
