Jason Marian, 32, could be out of prison in five months because of credit for time served.

Marian apologized to the victims and their families at his sentencing. He said his attorneys instructed him against doing so earlier.

"I wanted to do nothing more than apologize from day one," Marian said. "I am truly, truly sorry for any pain I caused you... I know I hurt them, I hurt my family. The poor judgment I made was purely a selfish act."

One of the girls who was videotaped in Marian's bathroom, told the judge, "As a seventh-grader at 13 years old, I had discovered firsthand what betrayal really was. For the past four years, this has always been in the back of my mind. The impact of all that has gone on is indescribable. I have been waiting for this to finally be over and now that it is, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders."

"No one saw it coming," the girl's mother told the judge. Then, turning to Marian, she added, "You are the most dangerous of predators because you so carefully manipulated your way into the dance studio and into the families of the victims pretending to be something that you were not."

"You painted a masterful picture of yourself -- someone who was married, someone who befriended many of the families, and someone who had just become a father. On the outside you looked safe. On the inside, you are a sick man," she added.

Prosecutors claim that in 2007, Marian used a hidden bathroom camera to tape five dance students, ages 12 to 14, as they changed clothes after a pool party at his home.

Prosecutors also say Marian had sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl in 2005 and 2006.
