LONG BEACH (CBS) — Who needs the 405 Freeway when you have JetBlue?

The airliner’s #OverThe405 program, offering $4 one-way flights, literally over Carmageddon, between Burbank’s Bob Hope International Airport and Long Beach Airport on July 16, sold out in a matter of hours.

I agree with you. Even if people have to business between the two places, I think it would be fun going for a flight for that price.

And with the time it will take to get to Burbank, go through security, taxi the plane to the runway, takeoff, circle around LA before being cleared to land at LAX and then getting through the traffic at and near LAX to get to wherever you want to go, it should only take about 4 hours.

    1. Marcus says:

Except it’s Long Beach, not LAX, so no circling and no traffic.
