ORANGE (CBS) — Two armed robbers  in a brazen daytime holdup of a discount store in Orange County were still at large on Wednesday, authorities said.

The holdup took place in front of customers at the 98-Cent discount store at 8041 Cerritos Ave. in Stanton at about 3 p.m. Saturday, according to Orange County Sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino.

One of the suspects approached a clerk from behind with a knife, as the other closed in on her from the front, Amormino said.

“She was so scared she ran out and almost bumped into one of the suspects,” Amormino said.

The robbers took the entire cash register and fled, Amormino said.

“It was a very busy Saturday afternoon and they did this in front of a lot of people,” Amormino said.

The suspects were described as Latino men in their late 20s, Amormino said.

    1. Jeezus says:

what’s pathetic too is how the laws in place dont actually take care of criminals anyways, which is a good reason why people commit crimes and reoffend often. and by people, i mean mexicans.

  3. The Big Logic says:

“Gros” or Mex, it’s always one or the other. Good thing for them that profiling is not sanctioned, or America would be devoid of these aberrants to society
