Pau Gasol, 'I Want To Stay With Lakers'
(CBS) -- Pau Gasol wants to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers according to the Agence France-Presse.
"My desire is to stay with the Lakers. I don't have control over it but I want to stay with the Lakers for as many years as I can to be able to remain eligible for the maximum possible championships." Gasol told reporters from Alicante, Spain.
Gasol has been the subject of increased trade rumors in recent days, most notably in a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves that would bring him back together with fellow Spaniard, Ricky Rubio.
