LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently said ‘buh-bye’ to the food pyramid and have introduced MyPlate guidelines in an effort to retrain and teach Americans about the importance of portion control.

Ed and Ann-Marie Stephens visited KCAL9 Studios Monday to discuss the nation’s new nutrition guide and to introduce ‘Precise Portions’ — a dinnerware set that makes portion control easier by dividing up plates into clearly marked sections.
