Policy Panel: Redistricting Effort May Hurt Minority Vote

(CBS) — A panel of of public policy experts is urging California residents of color to make sure their political voice is heard ahead of a statewide redistricting campaign.

The Commission plans to hold a series of community meetings around the state to get input and reaction to the draft maps, and will also be accepting public comment by e-mail at votersfirstact@crc.ca.gov, by fax (916) 651-5711, and by mail to Citizens Redistricting Commission, 901 P Street, Suite 154-A, Sacramento, CA 95814.
