Convicted Serial Killer Pleads Not Guilty To 4 Additional Murder Charges
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Chester Turner, who is on death row for the murders of ten women, pleaded not guilty Thursday on four additional murders in South Los Angeles between 1987 and 1988.

The Arkansas native, who once worked as a pizza deliveryman, was described by prosecutors as the city of Los Angeles' most prolific serial killer back in 2007 when he was sentenced to death for the murders of ten women. Deputy District Attorney Robert Grace, who prosecuted Turner on the additional murders, says that the people of California and the victims' families have a right to know whether or not Turner murdered the four women.
Turner's attorney Kieran Brown denied the new allegations on his client's behalf but brought up how Turner is being restrained by the sheriff's deputies.
"He's just a big guy and he's got handcuffs that are too small for him," Brown said. "They cut into his wrists so I'm asking for them to put on larger handcuffs."
The 44-year-old defendant is due back in Los Angeles County court on July 12.
