Injured Baby Brought To Fire Station Dies At Hospital

SAN JACINTO (CBS) — Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a two-month-old baby boy who died at a hospital after his parents took him to a San Jacinto fire station.

The infant's parents, whose names were withheld, reportedly brought Staycee White to Station 78 on Cottonwood Street about 4:04 a.m. Sunday seeking medical attention, sheriff's Sgt. Stephen Mike said.

The child had been injured, but details about the injuries were not released.

The child was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died at 5:08 p.m. Sunday, according to Mike.
