Moreno Valley Man Busted For Allegedly Having Stolen Guns And Illegal Drugs

MORENO VALLEY (CBS) — A man allegedly caught with stolen guns and a variety of illegal drugs at his Moreno Valley residence was behind bars Wednesday.

Oliver Walker, 38, was taken into custody Monday night on suspicion of possessing marijuana and methamphetamine, carrying a concealed weapon, possessing stolen firearms and unregistered assault rifles.

Walker is being held in lieu of $55,000 bail at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.

According to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Alfonso Campa, deputies executed search warrants at the suspect's house in the 16000 block of War Cloud Drive and a storage unit he rented on Perris Boulevard.

Campa said a loaded handgun was seized at the house, along with drugs and $7,000 cash. At the storage facility, deputies discovered seven more guns, including two illegally modified rifles, according to Campa.

Campa did not disclose how investigators learned about Walker's alleged illegal activity.
