BOSTON (AP) — A German-born man who claimed to be a member of the famous Rockefeller family has agreed to return to California to face a murder charge in a 1985 killing.

In March, he was charged in the killing of Jonathan Sohus, who mysteriously disappeared with his wife in 1985. Gerhartsreiter was living in a guest house on property owned by Sohus’ mother in San Marino.READ MORE: East Coast Storm Grounds Dozens Of Flights Out of LAX, John Wayne Airport On Monday
Boston lawyer Jeffrey Denner said Gerhartsreiter denies any role in Sohus’ death, and hopes to resolve the case and get on with his life.
