LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A Los Angeles gas station was selling gas for $3.99 a gallon Wednesday.

The ARCO station near Cesar Chavez and Townsend avenues sold the fuel below the $4 mark as gas prices in California continued to fall for the twelfth consecutive day.

According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gas is $4.21, more than six cents less than one week ago.
