Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 10)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — A wave of energy that moved through late Monday night gave us an average of .01" of rain. There was also about a half-inch of snow up in the higher elevations.

The trough is still in place over the southwest, but it is moving out. We are left with cool temperatures once again Tuesday, topping out in the upper 60s to low 70s in the basin.

A small ridge of high pressure is going to bump in for Wednesday and Thursday. However, another low is expected to drop into the area by Saturday and Sunday, and we could see some light precipitation again early Sunday morning.

Coastal - mid 60s
Basin - upper 60s to low 70s
Valleys - low 70s
Deserts - low 70s
Mountains - mid 50s
