2 Men Charged In Connection With Murrieta Burglary

MURRIETA (CBS) — Murrieta police said two men have been charged in connection with the burglary of a home in Murrieta.

According to authorities, 19-year-old Wesley Wilson of Murrieta and 20-year-old Jordan May have been charged with a felony for residential burglary.

Wilson was released on bail Friday. May, who faces an additional count of felony violation of probation, remains jailed with bail set at $25,000.

Murrieta police arrested the two Wednesday after they had allegedly attempted to burglarize a home in the 27000 block of Post Oak Place.

Police Lt. Tony Conrad said the homeowner confronted Wilson and May, at which point, they fled the house with the victim's car keys.

Conrad said the victim's stolen keys were recovered during the arrests.
