CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Real Madrid will play at the Galaxy for the second straight preseason, meeting the MLS team July 16 in an exhibition at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Real Madrid defeated the Galaxy 3-2 last Aug. 7 before a crowd of 89,134 at the Rose Bowl. Several of the Spanish club’s players returned from their post-World Cup vacations to join the team that week at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The game is part of a preseason tournament called the World Football Challenge that also includes Manchester United, Manchester City, Barcelona, the New England Revolution, Chicago Fire and Vancouver Whitecaps.

Manchester United and Barcelona play at Landover, Md., on July 30 in a rematch of the Champions League final that will take place on May 28 at Wembley Stadium.
