2 On-Duty Traffic Officers Accused Of Appearing In Porn Video

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A bad decision while on duty may cost two traffic officers their jobs.

The two men are accused of appearing in a porn video while on duty and in uniform.

In January this year, CBS2 and KCAL9 brought still pictures of the porn to the attention of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation. At the time, they responded by saying, "We believe the photos supplied are doctored pictures as the images have been altered and are without any identifying information."

Although the department said they were "pretty certain" the vehicles were theirs, they weren't sure about the people staged in front of it and refused to continue any further with an investigation. However, administrators still warned all employees off duty to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Now, months after the racy photos were shown, the porn "video" surfaced and re-opened the investigation into the men's conduct.

"It should not reflect on the fine job our traffic officers do out there 24-7 in all weather and situations hoping public understands actions of a few don't reflect on majority of our work force," a spokesman for the department said.

The video was reportedly made to catch everyday people off-guard and in questionable positions.
