Stocks Set To Rise Ahead Of Ford, Exxon-Mobil Earnings Reports
NEW YORK (AP) — Wall Street will focus on another full slate of corporate earnings this week as several big companies report their first-quarter performance.
Ford Motor Co., Coca-Cola, and Exxon-Mobil are among the companies reporting earnings this week. Movie rental company Netflix Inc. will release its earnings report after the market closes Monday.
Ahead of the opening bell, Dow Jones industrial average futures are up 32 points, or 0.3 percent, to 12,466. S&P 500 futures are up 4, or 0.3 percent, to 1,334. Nasdaq 100 futures are up 6, or 0.3 percent, to 2,382.
Monday is the first trading day since Thursday. Markets were closed for the Good Friday holiday.
