Spinoffs Planned For 3 'Jersey Shore' Stars In 2012

NEW YORK (AP) — Life isn't always a day at the beach for the stars of "Jersey Shore," so three of its cast members will also be appearing in MTV spinoffs.

The network said Thursday that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley have been paired in a new reality series that will follow their adventures when their summer share is over.

Meanwhile, Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio has scored his own 12-episode reality series that chronicles his life as a disc jockey.

Both series begin production later this year and are slated to air in 2012.

MTV says they will duplicate the "humorous and unapologetic" style that has made "Jersey Shore" a hit. The next season of "Jersey Shore," its fourth, will also have all three stars on board.
