Perez Hilton Pens Children's Book

NEW YORK (AP) — The latest on Perez Hilton: He's written a children's book.

Celebra Children's Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Reader's Group, announced Tuesday that "The Boy With Pink Hair" is set for release in September 2011. Illustrated by Jen Hill, the picture book tells of a boy with a "shock of fabulous hair" and "celebrates individuality and acceptance."

Hilton, the celebrity blogger, is not new to the book world.

He's collaborated on grown-up books, too: "Perez Hilton's True Bloggywood Stories" and "Red Carpet Suicide: A Survival Guide on Keeping Up With the Hiltons."
