Judge Grants Visitation Rights To Disabled Mother Of Triplets
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A judge has granted temporary visitation rights to a severely disabled woman who has been fighting for the right to see her triplets.
An attorney for Abby Dorn told KCAL9 Friday that the judge has issued a tentative written order.
Dorn was left disabled while giving birth to the triplets in 2006 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her parents filed court papers on her behalf trying to get visitation rights with her two sons and daughter.
In the decision, Dorn will be allowed to visit her four-year-old triplets until a trial date is set in the case.
Dorn's ex-husband, Dan Dorn, objects to the visitation rights, saying she is no longer capable of being a parent.
