Wanted: Man Who Drove Fatally Injured Woman To Burbank Hospital
BURBANK (CBS) — A 23-year-old woman died Friday morning after she was dropped off at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Burbank police said.
The man who was driving her contacted the hospital at 4 a.m. and personnel got the woman, who had been shot in the head, out of the car before he drove away, police Sgt.Tracy Sanchez said.
The woman was pronounced dead shortly after she arrived at the emergency room. Her name was being withheld pending notification of family.
Police were looking for the person who may have been involved in the shooting or brought her to the hospital, Sanchez said.
The driver's car may have been found at the hospital several hours later, CBS2's Kristine Lazar reported.
