LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Charlie Sheen is coming to the aid of those ravaged by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

The actor announced on his website, charliesheen.com, that he will donate $1 from each ticket sold to his “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option Show” to the Red Cross Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund.

Both live stage shows, scheduled for April in Detroit and Chicago, sold out in 18 minutes on Saturday.
