Broxton Tosses Scoreless Inning After Getting Shelled By SD

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- John Danks pitched five scoreless innings, Omar Vizquel hit a two-run homer and the Chicago White Sox beat a Los Angeles Dodgers split-squad 6-1 on Sunday.

Danks allowed just one hit, struck out two and walked three in the longest outing for a White Sox pitcher this spring.

Dodgers closer Jonathon Broxton, who struggled late last season, tossed a scoreless inning in his first appearance since he was shelled Thursday in a loss to the San Diego Padres.

Vizquel went deep and Lastings Milledge had a sacrifice fly in Chicago's three-run fourth inning.
